Chicago photographers Miller + Miller Architectural Photography recently photographed skyline drone aerial, exterior building, and interior photography at Spoke Apartments in Chicago. Spoke Apartments is Chicago’s brand new, two-tower community in the River West neighborhood offering retail, commercial space, and residential apartments, townhomes rentals. One of our objectives for the shoot was a focus of photos for the communities residential marketing and photographs within the mix of unique on-site building amenities for residents. The apartment community’s marketing “728 reasons to live here. You could leave, but you don’t have to. This is the address that has it all.”

The open-concept and ultra-unique floor plans feature stainless steel appliances and dramatic panoramic views of the Chicago skyline. The mixed-use development has a convenient location offering instant access to River West, West Town, Wicker Park, Ukrainian Village, the bus, interstate, and downtown Chicago via the CTA Blue Line subway and Milwaukee Avenue’s “Hipster Highway.”

M+M is a Chicago drone aerial photographer, exterior architecture, and interior room apartment photographer. The exterior and interior photographs for this Chicago apartment photography shoot included a specific request for the photos to be atmospheric and the shoot to include lifestyle architectural exterior and interior photos with people. The images not only captured the architectural surrounding for exteriors and interior room photographs, but also incorporated people and residents in motion, adding a trendy lifestyle element into the photos to be used for the leasing marketing for the Chicago apartment building’s busy location and the multi-family property amenity spaces.

One impressive highlight for this newly development apartment building is it’s abundance of on-site amenities for renters. The client desired us to choose the most impactful and photographic spaces whereas we selected the lobby and a few vibrant common area spaces for the photography to occur. A few of the numerous amenity spaces and rooms at Spoke include a Virtual cycling studio, yoga, gaming room, luxury sky lounge penthouse, party rooms, spinning studio, 24-hour fitness center, an acre plus of outdoor space, the South Tower’s indoor/outdoor fireplace, outdoor terraces, rooftop pool, private cabanas, bbq, outdoor kitchens, firepits, dog run & spa, parking garage, stage, music room, game room, and recording studio.

Inside the apartment property are unique interior décor designs, architectural design elements, and art filling the interior of the commercial residential building. Curated by Patti Gilford Fine Arts, 24 innovative Chicago-based artists were carefully selected to complement the architecture and culture of Spoke. Akin to living in a contemporary art gallery, the lobbies, amenity spaces, and residential corridors of each building display vibrant, diverse, and thought-provoking paintings, drawings, photography and more providing an unrivaled cultural experience of living alongside contemporary art. We enjoyed the mixing all of the vibrant elements together combining the unique amenity room’s luxury and artsy design details with people walking within the artistic architectural interior photography images.

The Spoke development is the result of a collaboration between Morgan Holdings and the Bond Companies. Ronnie Morgan and Rob & Larry Bond joined forces to create the best residential rental community in this prime location in Chicago, Illinois.

Scottsdale developers Optima created Optima Kierland which provides multiple living options for residents in Arizona.  The Optima Kierland development is a community that caters to desert dwellers who love modern living arrangements, an abundance of amenities, and appreciate the desert landscape & innovative location in which to live.  This post features example photos from our exterior building photography project shoot taking place at the brand new Arizona development.  A North Scottsdale Developers Optima & Optima Kierland Development photography shoot.

The Arizona desert landscape was looking beautiful and the Fall season was perfect fit our October building photography shoot in Scottsdale.  For this project, our client contributed to the construction of the building’s structure, providing the metal and glass within the windows, walls, unit shades, balcony terraces, and doors enclosures for the stunning Optima Kierland community towers. The IAP Enclosure Systems company is a global, custom glass designer, with fabrication manufacturing, and installation glass and metal enclosure services. The photography shoot’s focus was on exterior elevation building photos (no interior shots) of the recently completed construction of the building. We photographed architectural building photos of the finished 7160 Optima Kierland building tower plus a few shots of 7120 East Optima tower, the community’s 2nd building under-construction.  Although this shoot focused on exterior construction building photography of the development only… keep in mind, our architectural photography company also photographs residential interiors and interior photography of condos, apartments, homes, luxury residences, and more. It was a beautiful weathered day during our photography building shoot in Phoenix Portland on the Park Condo & Mixed-Use Infill Development photos capturing day and night architectural photography building photos in downtown Phoenix.  We are architectural photographers traveling between Chicago and Arizona often serving the Midwest, the West Coast and beyond traveling Nationwide.  This Phoenix Arizona building photography project was at Portland on the Park located at 200 W Portland St, Phoenix, AZ 85003.

The new construction modern building is a mixed-use, infill development in Phoenix. Project developers, Habitat Metro are experts in the infill development process which is developing vacant or under-used parcels, within existing large urban areas, in Portland Oregon and the Phoenix metropolitan areas.  Although these urban areas are already largely developed, the real estate development firm Habitat creates new infill developments.  Portland on the Park is an example of multi-use building from its residential condos with breathtaking terrace views overlooking Margaret T. Hance Park & the Japanese Friendship Garden and luxury appointed penthouses & condominiums, to commercial retail on the ground level and on-site parking garage, the mixed-use structure, on 3 acre parcel of land was a massive building to photograph.

Our client is the manufacturers and erectors of windows and window-walls for high rise structures.  The Portland on the Park downtown Phoenix photography shoot project was completed last Fall.  This development was one of three buildings needing architectural photography in the Phoenix metropolitan region.  The timing was perfect for the photography shoot, as Portland on the Park Development had just completed construction in 2017.  Arizona construction crews worked day into night completing the development, built in two phases. Residents began moving into finished condominium units in January 2017.

The mixed-use infill development has 149 residential units with 7,200 square feet of commercial space. Including 15,000 square feet of retail amenities.  The architectural modern design of the development’s structure is unique with multi-levels incorporating a timeless modern architectural design elements, emphasizing clean vertical lines.

The Portland on the Park photography shoot consisted of focusing on the entire building.  The property is comprised of lofts and condominiums within towers of four, 12, and 14-story building sections and post-tension concrete towers. The building features a resort-style pool, open-air gathering rooftop on top of the 14-story tower offering unobstructed views of the city, the surrounding Phoenix mountains in the distance, and rooftop space where residents and their guests can enjoy use of rooftop barbeque and fire pit facilities.  Planned as a truly ‘smart’ building, dedicated fiber with commercial Internet connection speeds unprecedented in current home services with IT infrastructure planned to keep up with future technology. An Elan scalable home automation system is installed in each unit providing a platform for entertainment, accessory, security and environment management.  Additionally, the building has planned capacity for car-charging stations throughout the community’s on-site parking garage.  Residences include one, two and three bedroom condo residences starting prices ranged from the $235,0000 to $1.25 million.

This Phoenix Portland on the Park Mixed-Use Development project team include commercial development Sunbelt Holdings, and developer Habitat Metro, LLC who specialize in mixed-use, multifamily & hospitality construction development.  Sunbelt Holdings and Habitat Metro led the development for Portland on the Park and the urban condominium community along one of Phoenix’s last remaining boulevard park streets. Additional team members for the development project include award-winning design of by architect DAVIS ArchitectureIAP Enclosures, urban living lifestyle specialists Braun Allison from Vancouver and Scottsdale-based The James Agency are managing marketing and public relations.

The projected $75 million development is situated along Central Avenue on Portland Street between Portland Park and 32 acre oasis Margaret T. Hance Park, giving residents prime access to downtown amenities including the light rail, Roosevelt Row Arts District, and Japanese Friendship Garden. The park is the venue for popular events throughout the year including the recent three-day March Madness Music Festival, the city’s St. Patrick’s Day parade and the McDowell Mountain Music Festival. Portland on the Park is near Downtown Phoenix’s vibrant restaurant, arts, professional sports and shopping scenes.
