“In early 2009, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act was put in place to jump start the economy and fix a number of everyday needs across America. A number of new and re-development projects were put in place within Illinois. Stimulus projects have been focused within the areas of eduction, housing and energy, health and human services, public safety, transportation and infrastructure, broadband technology, general workforce development and retention and within the water and sewer main industry.

Miller + Miller was recently commission to capture photographically a few ongoing construction projects underway by an Illinois based consulting and engineering firm. We arrived on location at the construction site to capture under-construction marketing photographs documenting the engineering company’s newest and active projects. The Chicago area firm has expertise and experience in providing improvements, repairing and expanding of water and wastewater infrastructures and facilities. No only does the firm have a focus on water and wastewater markets, but also in aviation, highways & bridges, and land development. University College Prep School Exterior and Interior Photography

“Above our a few samples from our two day photography session with this university and college preparatory high school, located in the Northern Illinois and Chicago area. The day capturing architectural photography included not only campus exterior architectural photography, but also interior room photography of the old and new sections of the school, and time outdoors beyond the education section of the campus where we photographed the school, university and college sport stadium, parks and fields.

After discussing with the school’s marketing department their communication and visual needs, they booked more than one day with us and we captured pictures of the building’s recent additions and renovations to campus academic buildings, classrooms, lecture halls and more providing photos for the school’s public relations, press, development needs. The campus tour photos were incorporated into the school’s recent web design update and printed brochures. Today a year later after the shoot, our contact at the school replied saying “Thank you Sarah and Ryan. Your photography has helped our school’s marketing pieces and website standout. ”

With several public and private educational institutions in the Chicago suburbs and the metropolitan Chicago area the development department decided to updated the school’s design materials by enhancing the designs with not only a new up to date logo, information and web site, but they also contacted us for commercial photography of the students and interior and exterior building photos helping to enhance the image of the campus inviting future students to visit and enjoy the school.”

Calamos, Sr. John Calamos founded Calamos Asset Management in 1977 and now is ranked by Forbes as the 258th-richest person in the world.

Dirk Lohan, Principal, Basil Souder, Associate Principal, of Lohan Anderson, the award-winning architectural firm were responsible for CityGate Centre’s stunning modern design.

The mixed-use development encompasses 31 acres and over 1.2 million square feet of space including office, restaurants, shops, a 144-room boutique hotel with a performing arts center and a significant retail component called The Shops at CityGate Centre. CityGate Centre I is a 213,000 square foot Class A office building with cutting edge architecture, sustainable design and green building strategies, and includes high ceilings, indirect lighting with light harvesting, floor to ceiling glass, underfloor air distribution and energy efficient HVAC systems.
