Our residential photography and interior design photo clients year after year continue to impress us.  This inspiring room features a nearly all white monochromatic and elegant designed master bathroom.  Many of our clients and builder’s homes and Miller + Miller photos have been featured in home and decorating magazines. We admit to enjoying, in our spare time, browsing through magazines for the editor’s trends, selections and seeing all the professional photography in home magazines. And we’ve bookmarked a couple of online interior decorators’ blogs and style boards while looking for inspiring bathroom & kitchen designs too. Are you searching for bathroom decorating, remodeling, or gathering new bath photo ideas?  We love scanning the web, saving photography, pinning ideas and home photos from Instagram, Pinterest, Restoration HardwarePottery Barn, etc.

If you are like us, perhaps you are curious what interior design expert predictions for bathroom styles are. And what bathroom trends will be buzzing around town this year?  Which bathroom trends will become a classic bathroom design?  Which bath design selections and looks will be here to stay? One favorite interior designer has recently featured her personal favorite bathroom design style trends for the year. For additional bathroom ideas and inspiration check out Emily Henderson blog – in love with her style.

Working as a home interior design photographer in Chicago, we often get an early peek inside homes.  From elaborate addresses of luxury houses of Chicago’s elite and celebrities.  To simply photographing Chicago-lands custom home builder’s model homes prior to being released the public.  Our architectural photography clients have impeccable taste with rooms and homes of Chicago’s trendy, designer, newly built, and well decorated residences & homes.

White and gray is a great color choice for a bathroom: classic or edgy, it’s always elegant, and it matches with almost any other color scheme. For this stunning inspiring bathroom, the interior design materials and designer’s theme was monotone, minimalistic white, and farmhouse classic styled.  The comfortable and dreamy master bedroom with en-suite bath provided for an elegant sanctuary. The crisp white and gray inspiration with glitzy crystals provided a spa-like retreat bathroom design. A classy place of peace and solitude. The luxury designer master bedroom and bathroom had the right amount of windows for the morning’s natural light and beams of bright sunlight could enter the rooms.

White and gray bathroom design elements blend together well making this master bath appealing, classic clean and yet modern. The eye-catching focal point upon entering the bathroom was the freestanding tub and elegant crystal light fixture above. Creating a centerpiece for the master bathroom tub, the elegant round crystal chandelier sparkled hanging above tub. The white and gray colored luxury master bathroom had a dual spray, walk-in gray marble shower. The bathroom’s elegant design was monochromatic, nearly all white, with the perfect touch of gray accenting the design as subtle neutrals. Adding a natural touch and zen with an orchid plant on the vanity was a soft contrast to the master bathroom’s modern gray color shaded accents in the tile and wall paint. The farmhouse home design theme carried into the master bathroom with elegant touches and classic style with the white painted cabinet console vanity, white quartz countertops, and gray marble shower & floor tile design selections.

GT Prime Chicago steakhouse

This featured architectural photography project was at GT Prime Chicago. Chicago’s newest, edgy-chic restaurant steakhouse. GT Prime is a modern interpretation of the classic Chicago steakhouse restaurant and is located at 707 N Wells Street in Chicago’s bustling River North neighborhood.

Our architectural photography client was appointed as a lighting specialist during construction of the new River North restaurant. Marketing hired Miller + Miller Architectural Photography to photograph the GT Prime building exterior facade. Our photography focus was to capture the exterior photos of the building with a focus on the lighting and ambiance it provides. Additionally, for this exterior Chicago photography building project, the photography shoot was to include photographs of the restaurant building’s front door, and photographed across the street with a focus in on the facade captured during the late afternoon into the evening lighting hours. We planned for our photography shoot of the restaurant building to begin in the early evening, to capture both sunset dusk and night after dark photos.

Photographing the Chicago restaurant storefront building at night not only produces dramatic images but also fulfilled the client’s need to focus in on their lighting product.  The GT Prime restaurant photo shoot was photographed during different times of the day, providing professional marketing images for our client who was looking to showcase their lighting product from the evening’s golden hour until after dark.  Most important for this photography client, was ensuring our photos visually showcased through photographs the lighting casting beams of light along the valance of the exterior elevation of the building. Using our 10+ years of commercial photographer expertise, knowledge and photographic technical ability, our professional architectural photos of the building illustrate how the light grazes onto the wood paneled walls of GT Prime adding drama to the Chicago storefront of the restaurant’s front doors & entryway. Appointing eye-catching lighting was a genius part of the restaurant’s construction.  The unique way the dramatic lighting at the GT Prime Chicago restaurant was added into the building’s construction provide drama, while impressing the eye of potential future patrons driving, or walking out front of the restaurant location on Wells between Huron and Superior streets.

GT Prime Chicago Steakhouse www.gtprimerestaurant.com features cocktails & wines, mixed grill options, and creative small plates. With an emphasis on sourcing from local farms and cuisine highlighted by seasonal Ingredients, GT Prime was prominently ranked recently as a Top 50 Steakhouses in America. The Boka Restaurant Group and Executive Chef/Partner Giuseppe Tentori have curated a meat-centric menu indicative of Giuseppe’s signature sharable plates at his sister restaurant, GT Fish & Oyster. While many restaurants forgo specialty lighting design due to budget constraints, GT Prime and Boka Restaurant Group consistently make restaurant lighting a high priority understanding the importance quality lighting providing for not only lavish room lamp decoration for the high-end restaurant’s eye-catching atmosphere, nonetheless still maintaining a balanced focus on comfort and ambiance. Balancing functional illumination, the Chicago Tribune has complimented GT Prime as “dramatically lit”!  The impressive GT Prime restaurant is designed by Karen Herold of Studio K Creative. The distinctive and memorable restaurant design features Karen’s signature interior design esthetic that is both timeless and eclectic. Boka Restaurant Group selected LG Construction Development Group founded by Brian Goldberg and Marc Lifshin to complete the restaurant real estate development and build the two-story, 5,600 square foot luxury restaurant.  Architecture of the GT Prime restaurant is by Jonathon Splitt Architects Ltd. Exterior LED lighting by Tempo LLC Industries.
